Steve Bachor – Senior Project Director

 

Mr. Bachor has 24 years experience in the construction industry. His management skills include construction and development operations, review and evaluation of construction documents, budgets, competitive bidding, negotiations, purchasing and schedule control. He has worked for PCM3 in the capacity of Sr. Construction Manager and Project Director, overseeing numerous modernization and new construction projects. Mr. Bachor’s position as a Project Director includes many diverse duties, one of which is Owner relations. Mr. Bachor has excellent communication skills with owners, architects, consultants, contractors, and on-site district staff. His responsibilities also include constructability reviews, scope development, budget and estimate preparation, front-end document preparation, document control, schedule development and tracking, daily construction coordination, negotiations, project closeout, and providing leadership to Project Managers to assure success for the PCM3 team. He has built over 5,000 residential units in the western United States and over 5 million sq. ft. of premier commercial and office space in the United States and Mexico. All projects are from start to finish, including plan review and coordination.

 

 

 

Jeff-Ray

Jeff Ray – Project Director


Mr. Ray is currently working as the Project Director in the Val Verde Unified School District and Perris Elementary School District overseeing a combined construction program of over $400 million. Jeff has an extensive and varied construction background including plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, sewage and water treatment, and general construction. He routinely prepares RFI’s and PCO’s for architect submittal and review and conducts weekly job meetings. Jeff is able to manage multiple projects with multiple prime contractors and acts as liaison between contractors, District, and Architect. Additionally, he is well versed in project start up including bidder solicitation, award of contract, preparation of front-end documents and design review. Mr. Ray collectively has over 22 years of experience as a manager and business owner combined with many years of hands on construction experience. Jeff’s management experience has given him the necessary skills to communicate effectively, be a team player, and be an efficient time manager.

 

 

 

 

Jeff-Thrift

Jeff Thrift – Project Director


Mr. Thrift is currently a Project Director for the Sacramento City Unified School District. He has experience with budget issues and resolution, contingency tracking, change order negotiations, verifying scopes of work and tracking time and material costs. He is an experienced construction professional with many years working in the construction industry. Mr. Thrift has learned to be an effective communicator and he deals directly with architects, owners, contractors, and governmental agencies on a daily basis. Mr. Thrift is a valuable part of the District’s CM Team, he routinely conducts weekly construction meetings, prepares RFI submittals, front-end documents, and change orders. Additionally, Jeff prepares schedules for projects with multiple prime contractors and provides on-site Construction Management for the District’s Prime Contractors. He is an innovative leader with excellent communication and organizational skills and has a proven track record in multi-project handling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mike-Barber

Mike Barber – Assistant Project Director


Mr. Barber has more than 10 years experience working in the construction industry. His management experience includes public works, residential, and private sector construction. He is experienced with constructability reviews, budget estimating, bidder solicitation, design coordination, project scheduling, and daily coordination of multiple-prime contracts. He has worked on a multitude of projects including community centers, performing arts centers, modernizations and new construction of schools. Mr. Barber is excellent at communicating with owners, architects, contractors, inspectors and consultants. He can provide an up to date status for any issue and provide quick resolution for the team. Mr. Barber is a committed member of the PCM3 team, knowing that a successful project takes dedication and attention to necessary contractor efforts. He has the ability to identify issues and provide solutions. He provides detail to all areas of a project, ensuring a successful project completion. His efforts with district staff members have proven to be an invaluable tool during the transition of the completion of construction and the start of education.
